Asus is targeting the industrial Internet of Things (IoT) sector with its latest offering, the Tinker Board 3N. This single-board computer boasts a 64-bit quad-core Arm architecture, featuring the Rockchip RK3568 processor with four Cortex-A55 cores. Described as "NUC-sized," the Tinker Board 3N has approximate dimensions of 4 x 4 inches (100 x 100mm), although specific measurements have not been confirmed by Electronics Weekly.

The Tinker Board 3N supports various operating systems including Linux Debian, Yocto, and Android. It also offers firmware-over-the-air capabilities for both Android and Linux, making it versatile in terms of software compatibility. Asus emphasizes the optimized thermal design of the board, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments within a temperature range of -40 to 85°C.

In terms of memory, the Tinker Board 3N supports LPDDR4 and LPDDR4X, while graphics are handled by the Mali-G52 GPU, allowing for multiple displays through 1x HDMI, 1x LVDS dual-link, and 1x eDisplayPort. The board provides a range of interfaces including Power over Ethernet (PoE), COM, and CAN. It also offers M.2 E and M.2 B slots, enabling expansion for WiFi 5/6 and 4G/5G connectivity, along with a nano-SIM slot for easy SIM card insertion.

The Tinker Board 3N is available in three models: 3N, 3N Plus, and 3N Lite, although specific details regarding their features and specifications are yet to be provided by Asus, as requested by Electronics Weekly.
